About me

My professional background and experience have allowed me to pursue a richly rewarding career that included authoring a number of best-selling books, becoming an accredited coach, presenting training events on coaching in the UK and Europe, and serving clients through associate and freelance channels.

As a Registered and Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a freelance Organizational Consultant and Accredited Executive Coach, I work as an associate with Tavistock Consultancy Service, the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), NCSL, and The Learning Curve (TLC).

I run executive coaching training events in the UK and Europe for a number of institutions, including HEC Paris (with Said Business School, University of Oxford), the iCoach Academy, Bilbao School of Coaching – Spain, Institute of Group Analysis Rasztow – Poland, and BPS (British Psychological Society) UK.

I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a member of ISPSO and OPUS, a founding member of the BPS Coaching Psychology Forum, and an Accredited Coach with the Association of Coaching (AC) 2005-2015.

I have brought my observations, experience and reflections to print through extensive publications on clinical and organisational issues and with edited books covering a wide range of psychodynamic topics. Four of my latest books have become best-selling titles through Karnac Books.

In all my professional work, I strive to include visual art and symbolic representation as an enriching, integrating element in my clinical, consulting, and coaching practice. I bring new and creative perspectives onto the established dynamics that allow groups and individuals to free up from the impasse by questioning their limiting assumptions, finding new resources to be able to grow and develop as a result.
