Staying on focus

We seem to have trouble with this. We just spend some time in a meeting discussing whether a certain white-board pen was green or blue.

I think this is a sign of knowing the people at work and getting on well with them. A bit of friendly banter between colleagues can be a good thing. It can also stop people taking themselves to seriously- you know who you are.
However, it can take up too much time, but, well, where's the fun in worrying about that?
