London Java Meetup - Xmas Party 2003, 15th Dec 2003. I'm not too sure about this Electricity Showrooms place, and I hope I don't end up fist-fighting the Perl mongers, but I'll be there. It'll be interesting to meet Sam, if nothing else.

Posted by: Jim Hughes on November 28, 2003 03:36 PMThe Electricity Showrooms in Hoxton is fairly well known in the area, one of the original cool bars there which nowadays has a lot more competition. Hoxton is one of those painfully cool areas, but has the benefit of being just down the road from me - I live 10 minutes north in Dalston, Hackney (which is anything but cool!).
I'll be there if for no other reason that meet a few of the java bloggers face to face, although I'd also like to get a good feel for the current job market - my current job is incredibly stressful and at the same time incredibly boring - not a good combination!
