Mac Shortcut of the Day

⌘-` cycles between windows of the active application, ⌘-~ cycles backwards. Learning this somewhat lessens the pain of not having a working Witch.

These shortcuts make infinitely more sense on a US keyboard, where ~ is right above tab - tab for apps, ~ for windows. Simiarly the backtick, It's not so much command-~ and command-` as command-{thatkey] and command[shift+thatkey]. Command + shift + tab will cycle you backwards through apps, similarly. Just like on Windows, in fact... ;)
