I never got into python aside from some small scripts, im a unix (solaris 10 enterprise sparc baby) admin with mad perl knowledge but i'll be honest perl fucking sucks. I dont know if that secret is out yet, but it does. Nobody understands anything you write, and they just rewrite their own fucked up looking cryptic garbage, that you end up rewriting again so you understand it. its an endless battle. I bought a book on ruby i want to get into (rails) just havent had the time.
