It's not all bad news today, though; EU rejects software patents directive, for the moment at least. Yay!
Now if only the UK rejects ID cards...
Posted to Software by Simon Brunning at July 06, 2005 01:04 PMHate to waz on your bonfire but software patents are still perfectly legal in many European countries (not sure if this includes the UK though). All that happened is the EU directive to harmonise these laws has been rejected.
