It's still not showing any signs of tempting me away from Python/Jython, but congratulations to James, Jez et al on getting the Groovy JSR 01 release out of the door.
Posted to Java by Simon Brunning at April 06, 2005 10:35 AMI want to know where to invest my time. I could get into Python, which is more established; or I could learn Groovy, in which my Java knowledge gives me a leg-up. What's your opinion?
Posted by: Dave Pinn on April 22, 2005 08:08 PMWell, I'm hardly unbiased, but I'd go with Python. It can do anything that Groovy can do, it's far more elegant, and the community is great.
