Posted to The Internet by Simon Brunning at February 22, 2005 12:58 PMI'll see your gallery of tapes, and raise you a gallery dedicated to TV Test Cards: http://www.meldrum.co.uk/mhp/testcard/
Posted by: Sam Newman on February 22, 2005 01:26 PMPah, hand full of tapes wins .. er.. hands down!
Posted by: Gordon on February 22, 2005 02:13 PMOh my god - there is actually an FAQ section for test cards! Upside to internet - you can always find someone interested in the same obscure thing as you. Downside to internet - all the weird nutcases interested in odd things come out of the woodwork and find other weird nutcases, who then cease to think of themselves as weird nutcases and try to assimilate into normal society. We need protection!

Not quite in the right category, but oddly engaging, I will however supply "Weird things people tried to sell on Ebay".

Posted by: Mark Matthews on February 23, 2005 06:31 PMOh my god!
My brother and I had these two as kids...
Star Bird Space Avenger

Star Bird Space Intruder
http://www.handheldmuseum.com/MB/StarBirdSpaceIntruder.htm
..they could make all sorts of super-dooper space noises, and could "shoot" infared "lasers" at each other - if you got the right spot on the other guys toy, it would make damaged noises and shut down for several seconds.
Hours of intergalactic fun!
..sorry...end of big kiddie nostalgia trip...
Posted by: Mark Matthews on February 23, 2005 06:40 PMThere was that shoelace site : http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/index.htm
