The 120 Pints of Sodom

Since Sydney is a bit far to go for a beer, no matter how good the company, I'll be meeting Steve next Wednesday (the 2nd) evening at The Marquis of Granby. All welcome - but if you fancy coming, get in touch, and I'll bung you my mobile number. We don't know The Marquis of Granby. If it's rubbish, we'll go elsewhere.

But the distance is worth it for the nice refreshing taste of a Hahn (or two).

I'll put in a tentative maybe for next week, but I'll have to check with my co-parenting unit.

Oh, and how was the commute this morning? I heard that the Northern Line was carnage.

'Twas brutal. But then, it often is at the moment. I'm still on Hammersmith, which means three tubes, which means three chances for TfL to screw up. :-(

I think I can manage a drink of two! Hopefully they don't serve lethal cocktails like the ones I had on my birthday a couple of weeks ago!!

I have been to that pub, only once.
I saw Timothy Spall in there, off of TV's Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
I will now expect to see him if I go in there again.

The Lemon Tree around the corner is a nicer pub I think.
It's in my "manor" anyway, I might show up, you never know.
