Website of the week

One for Tracey - RecipeZaar.

This is a great website. It's a recipe database, with superb search facilities.

Thanks, Simon! And there's even recipes that include crisps, peanuts and chocolate, so maybe I'll find something nice for Bill's tea that doesn't break his staple dietary rules...
But, has it taught you how to cook yet?

Simon is a fantastic cook - from fancy French to exotic Indian. I know I'm his Mum and so I would say that, wouldn't I - but it's true. I think he's relying on the instant these days but a cordon bleu ability lurks within.

Proper cooking always seems like too much work for just me, but I cook for the girls at the weekend. I've not cooked anything fancy for ages, though.

Ah, well, if *Mum* says so, I guess I have to believe you! Although the joy produced by a small "proper" steak & kidney pudding does seem to fall in with the idea that it's not a skill you practice too often...

Well, I'll admit to being weak on anything pastry based. ;-)
