I need an upgrade...

Wow! Now this is a PC! (With the 92" monitor, naturally.)

Any chance, Boss?

No, thought not.

After careful consideration (analysing the amount of time you spend surfing/blogging ‘v’ your laughable levels of productivity) we are unable to justify this request or any request that entails spending money on you. The phrase “throwing good money after bad” springs to mind. Try asking when hell freezes over.

I hope you still feel sufficiently motivated.

A mere snip at $25299.98! ($7500 for the PC, the rest for the monitor...) Lets have one for each of the team. Might need a wider desk too....

Is that a no then?

My levels of motivation have not been modified, Paul.

I'm worth every penny, Mark. We all are.

Forget it Simon, I asked for a new stapler yesterday to replace the one you mangled and I got a slap for my troubles.

You gave Simon Brunning a stapler? Do you give your children razor blades to play with?

There has been some speculation that this is all a hoax.

Ah, but which operating system does it run?

Woops, just found it. Sorry kids, no Debian GNU/Linux - no cheque from me ;-)

Hmmm. But if it's a hoax, it's a *good* one. There's a lot of plausable detail on the site - the logo page, for example.

I suppose that it *could* be a hoax, but I doubt it myself.

Andy, it's a Windows box - http://www.go-l.com/winxp4l/winxp4l/index.htm

As shipped, that is. I'm sure Knoppix would work OK. ;-)
