I've had the game for a couple of weeks now and I'm probably not even halfway through, but I must say IT IS A LOT OF FUN. It seems the one-player game is a lot longer than in AW1, there's a few new units but the same cute artwork and solid gameplay are there.

Likewise. Basically the same game, which is fine, because it's so perfect for the platform. It is a bit longer. There are more commanders, and it seems like there are a lot more battles where you get multiple CO's to command. Definately a must buy.

I've just started the penultimate mission in the basic campaign. Then there's the advanced campaign.

And even once I've finished *that*, there will still be plenty to do - war room maps, Vs. mode maps (of which there are well over a hundred, and which you can play with a choice of generals both for the player and for the computer), and replaying the campaigns choosing different commanders.

So really, I don't *need* Advance Wars 2 yet. Which won't stop me from buying it at some point...

I have Advance wars 2, and it is very, very, very long. There must be 50 or so missions in the campian, then theres the advanced campain, war maps, VS maps, different COs the list goes on and on.

It's far better than the origanal in gameplay, and th missions are more varied. For anyone reading this website, but haven't bought it, BUY IT!!!!!!!

Sturm is a must have cheap CO! you must beat the Standard Campaign and get a "S" as an overall rank! More Co's, More maps, More fun!

aw2 rules, u can play as hachi by buying EVERYTHING that hachi has, including CO's, but i cant remember cuz it was pretty long ago that i unlocked him =) but aw2 is basically aw with more missions, more war room maps, more vs maps, more terrain, different graphics, super CO powers and neotanks =)
