Game Boy Advance SP

I couldn't resist getting a Game Boy Advance SP. Cool as fuck, I tell you.

Games? I have Advance Wars, Golden Sun and Doom.

I can recommend Advance Wars. Incredible game. Golden Sun is pretty good too, if you don't mind inscrutable Japanese-style RPGs. Doom is a little on the retro side. I love it, but if you don't remember if from the first time around, it may well not do it for you.

Anyone else got a GBA? Which are the unmissable games?

No fair. I had to restrict myself to unsubtle hints to SWMBO whilst walking past the display in John Lewis on Saturday. Her only response was 'its not your birthday'. Darn.

I was going to suggest you check Kevin Altis' blog, but it looks like you have been there already.

The advantages of being single, mate. On the one hand, there is sex. Or rather, there isn't. On the other hand, I get to buy a GBA-SP on the day it comes out.

I think you'll find the advantage is with me. ;-)

{Smug mode} Or a wife who encourages you to play games like Warcraft III of an evening with herself as co-pilot, or who'll sit up all night playing Risk with you while we watch Stargate SG1 in the background. {/Smug mode}. And no, she's not for sale, not even for half a shekel, a gourd and a fake beard.

So, have you got a GBA SP then, Mark? No, you haven't.

Are you getting one? No, you aren't.

She is, I'll admit, a pretty top bird as birds go, but I'll take the single life, thank you very much.

This might settle your "argument" :-)
