Anyone remember Cough Candy Twists?
Fizzy Cola Bottles, Flying Saucers? Sherbet Lemons?
Check out The Old Sweet Shop, for all your online crap sweet needs.
Remember the way that sherbert lemons used to lacerate the inside of your mouth? Bliss.

Flying Saucers (if you mean those paper things with sherbert inside) were rubbish! Whatever happened to Space Dust? That's the big question!
what happened to Cough Candy Twists and why doesn't anyone sell them anymore???
This looks like an old entry, but I'll add my two cents worth anyway.
I loved cough candy. I don't know whether it was supposed to cure anything but it was delicious, right up there with rum/ butter toffees. It was (is?) one of those boiled sweets that as soon as I put it in my mouth, it actually caused a mild constriction in my bronchil (sp?) area and a little wheezing for a few seconds. Is that why it was called "cough" candy?
I can't find it in the US; no matter I'll be back in the UK by mid '05.
For those wondering, there are web sites where it can be bought at vastly inflated prices, of course.
www.britishcandy.com also has cough candy :o)
There is asite which is cheaper than all the others mentioned here - and they stock absolutely everything; http//:www.sweetsncandy.co.uk
they sell cough candy at Asda for 69p per 200g.
