VSS for Eclipse - updated

Marcus Nylander's VSS Plugin for Eclipse has been upgraded to to COM automation - it's much faster now.

Funnily enough, I've had to do some VSS automation myself, in Python. VSS's object model is a bit nasty, but it's easy enough to write an OO wrapper while clutching the documentation. Then you can use the wrapper, and forget all about the ugly stuff underneath.

I'll probably clean this VSS stuff up and post it at some point.

Hey Simon,
I realize this post is quite old, but I am trying to find out more information on the state of Visual SourceSafe support in Eclipse (in particular Eclipse 3.2) for a customer of ours. I do not have VSS nor do I know anything about it, but is there a solution for Eclipse 3.2? I noticed the VSS plugin hasn't been updated in quite some time, and rumor had it that it required the JDT to run (although I can't fathom why!). Is that true?
The only other solution that seems to be out there is the SourceAnywhere plugin (http://www.dynamsoft.com/Products/SAW_Overview.aspx). Have you ever seen or tried this one?
Thanks,
Mark.

Sorry, Mark, we are using Subversion these days, rather than VSS, so I've not been keeping an eye on the VSS plugin.

OK. Thanks for the reply.
